We must say, thank God for a warrior for Christ who is not afraid to speak out against the gay marriage ruling.   Bishop Paul Morton courageously tweeted his opinion, informing everyone it's not okay for us not to preach what is wrong in the eyes of God, because of the Supreme Court's decision.   We are waiting for celebrity preachers like Bishop Eddie Long and Bishop T. D. Jakes to do the same.

We feel very sorry for certain ministers whom are afraid to publicly denounce gay marriage, because of either their association with President Obama or their alleged double life while preaching God's Word.  Furthermore, people may have said negative things about Bishop Paul Morton in the past, but one thing is for sure, they cannot deny he is standing up for what's right without shame or regret.   He's truly a man of God who does not have to fear being turned away in judgement.

Saints of God, here we go again, another pastor accused of fathering a child of a teenage girl.  
Gregory Ivan Hawkins was arrested after an unidentified victim admitted to police, she pregnant by him.  Allegedly, Rev. Hawkins said, he found her "very sexy, attractive and beautiful."  Do those words sound like they come from a man called to preach God's Word?

According to Newsok.com, Hawkins, 54, allegedly began the sexual relationship with the girl in April 2012 when the girl was 14, according to his arrest report.

After learning about these charges, we sincerely hope Gregory Hawkins church and child care closes for good.   He is not to be trusted around any children, if he described this teenage girl as though she is a grown woman.  This is just as nasty as a 'so-called' man of God turning out young boys, because this girl is a child.

In the meantime, we will keep this unidentified girl in our prayers and pray Rev. Hawkins repents for what he has done to her.

This former NBA celebrity of the Chicago Bulls is accused of assaulting a fan.  You know, one of the hurting things is when certain celebrities enjoy all the fame, but abuse their fans.  In this case, Scottie Pippen is allegedly accused of assaulting a fan who just wanted his autograph.  This is nothing but a spirit of pride, not even respectful to a fan who admires him. 

What gives Scottie Pippen or any other celebrity the right to put their hands on anyone for any reason?  Some of these celebrities think they are above God and do not even care about those whom admire them.   No wonder the Word of God says idolatry is a sin. I Samuel 15:23 says, 'For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.'
 

According to Mail Online, the man, who was reportedly taking pictures inside the sushi restaurant on Sunday while Pippen dined with his family, was pictured being loaded into an ambulance on the stretcher.  

We hate to admit the truth, but as the Bible says one must reap what he sows (Galatians 6:7) and we really Pippen is headed for the worst, if he does not repent and apologize to this man.

This longtime pastor of Los Angeles County, Pastor Manard Giles was killed by a drunk driver who was driving the wrong way.  Don't you hate it when drunk drivers do not suffer like those they put to death?  This is why we truly desire for the law to be changed to make drunk drivers reap the death penalty.  In our opinion, they get off too easy, even though they may get a few years in prison. 

It's time the saints of God start speaking out against drunk drivers, we can't just leave it up to the world or things will never change.  We must take power in our hands and make sure the laws are changed so drunk drivers won't take advantage of the judicial system that does not make them spend the same time in prison as a murderer, allegedly.  According to losangeles.cbslocal.com, California Highway Patrol has identified the driver of the Tundra as 38-year-old Bradford Pate of Burbank. 

According to the CHP, Pate was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive. In the meantime, we will keep Pastor Giles family in our prayers. 

May Pastor Manard Giles rest in peace, he was 77 years old.

Just when President Obama is about to visit South Africa, Nelson Mandela is in critical condition.  He e surrounded by his family at the Medi-Clinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria.  Although we know God has blessed Nelson Mandela to live over 90 years, we yet pray for him to live many more years, if it is God's will. 

According to CNN.com, Graca Machel, spends every night at the hospital, where the former president has been since June 8 for a recurring lung infection. Previously, authorities had described his condition as serious but stable.  

In the meantime, we are praying for the Mandela family and we know God is with Nelson Mandela.

The queen of soul, Aretha Franklin admires her father who joined the Freedom Walk, regardless of some pastors not liking it.   Of course, we know Rev. C. L. Franklin must have been a very strong-willed man, regardless of who were not in favor of his decisions, simply because he supported his daughter's career.

Well, this is what we think about the issue. Marijuana is illegal. It has always been in this country. Now, after there has been such a controversy, regarding Bishop I.V. Hilliard asking for donations to fix his helicopter's blades, he has apologized.  However, we do not know why there are so many people upset over this issue, since Bishop and Co-pastor Bridget Hilliard do help the poor and needy.   How many prominent pastors of mega churches do so?  Not many.

Usually SCR does have a lot to say against some rich and famous ministers, but the Hilliard's is one couple that has shown they care about the those whom have not only been low income, but homeless.   Bishop Hilliard and his wife, First Lady Bridgette Hilliard have given free meals and prayed with those whom have no place to go, unlike some of their rich colleagues in the ministry.   Possibly, people may think they should have apologized for asking for donations, but there is no reason to get upset, when so many other rich and famous celebrity preachers ask for donations and no one says a thing.

Furthermore, we do wish we could hear Bishop IV Hilliard go back to the way he allegedly claims he used to preach, like an old fashion baptist preacher without sophistication.   People do need hear more about salvation, being filled with the Holy Ghost and being healed, rather than mostly prosperity.   

In conclusion, we have heard so many other stories about parishioners donating money to other rich celebrity pastors for their jets, fine cars and homes, Bishop Hilliard's request is nothing new and should not be a surprise to anyone.

 ...we think Deitrick Haddon's efforts on this issue of transgender bathrooms is a great one, but can he really use this kind of platform and have credibility after his recent public scandal? We just pray he can be taken seriously on this issue without the repercussions of his personal scandal that he, quite frankly, created...

If you've watched the popular movie, 'The Sapranos', you will recall this famous Hollywood actor.  Actor James Gandolfini played the part of a mobster and brought a lot of interest to the film with his talent.   

Now, this is not a Hollywood script, the actor has just died of a heart attack at the young age of only 51 years old. Many people cannot believe James Gandolfini is dead, but obviously, either he was under a lot of stress and/or just overweight, which is the possible cause of his heart attack.

Now, we do not hear much controversy about Bishop I.V. and First Lady, Co-pastor Bridget Hilliard much.  However, this pastor, Saiko Woods who has a very small church is complaining about their wealth.  Allegedly, he says it is not right for Bishop I.V. Hilliard to ask for donations for his jet, he could pay for new blades out of his own pocket.   


Pastor Saiko Woods seems to be focusing more on what the Hilliard's possess, instead of saving souls.   Their wealth is nothing new and no different than other multimillionaire pastors of mega ministries, the only difference is, they seem to have an outreach for the poor and needy, allegedly.


According to MyFoxHouston.com, there's no question Bishop IV Hilliard is a rich Christian...Federal records show he and his wife first Lady Bridget Hilliard owns their own jet...an aviation expert tells FOX 26 news this Hawker is valued at  $2 million.  It's housed here at Hooks airport in Spring.  The hangar we're told owned by New Light and has a value of about $3 million.  This is also where Bishop Hilliard keeps the church's Bell Jet Ranger helicopter with a value of about $1 million.  

All we can say is this, there are not many pastors of mega ministries who provide for low income housing and also has fed the homeless.  In our opinion,  if the Hilliard's are really caring about those in need, then possibly there is nothing more to say, just keep them in our prayers.

The fact that COGIC Women's Convention may return to Memphis does not surprise us.  However, it won't be the annual convocation that may return there, according to bizjournals.com.  Historically, Memphis was always the place to go for most of COGIC national conventions. Wouldn't it be a good idea for all of the national conventions remain where the original headquarters of COGIC is located in the first place? 

According to bizjournals.com, COGIC is in negotiations with the city to bring its women's convention and Auxiliaries in Ministry convention to Memphis in 2014 and 2015, respectively. If a deal is reached, each event could bring 10,000 to 15,000 people to the city, said John Oros, vice president and COO of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau.   

Whatever the outcome is, we know many of the COGIC women will be eager to attend the conference.

Saints of God, this issue of getting churches to oppose homosexuality is not just a problem in our nation, but also in some other nations.  Of course, if there are some church people being outspoken about the issue, the Bible must be right and those whom support homosexuality are absolutely wrong.   Therefore, there should be no argument for Jamaican churches to march against homosexuality.

Respectively, Pastor Deitrick Haddon is quite late, transgender bathrooms has been going on in some California Schools since the early 2000's, allegedly.  However, at least he is speaking out, because we have heard no other pastor, not even in California touch this issue, very courageous of him.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, assembly Bill 1121 puts transgender bathrooms in all schools, kindergarten through 12th grade. It was authored by Assembly member Toni Atkins and co-sponsored by the Transgender Law Center and Equality California. The bill was passed by the Assembly by a vote of 54-16. The legislation would allow students to select the bathrooms and sports teams that fit with their gender identity.  

We really wish there were other pastors to join Pastor Deitrick Haddon against this issue.  However, we acknowledge, many of them within the black church are followers and not leaders and would rather be recognized by President Obama and not known as a righteous man or woman of God.   We've got to give to Pastor Haddon, regardless of his broken marriage, at least he is standing for righteousness, while many others are being puppets.

As usual, celebrity filmmaker and actor, Tyler Perry is being generous.  This time, Tyler Perry has donated $50k to a Michael Patterson who is paralyzed from his neck down, after trying to rescue a child in a creek.  We sincerely hope the money helps Patterson's medical bills. 

According to MyFoxAtlanta.com, Michael Patterson, 43, broke his neck in three places and severed his spine after diving into a creek at the Silver Comet Trail to save a 4-year-old girl.

First of all, we want to give our respect to Pastor Fred Luter by giving thanks to God for such a courageous man.  We thank God for a righteous man who is taking a stand against homosexuality.  The reason why is so clear, Pastor Luter is allegedly pulling his church out of the homosexuality, because of their unbiblical stance on homosexuality. 

Saints of God, this is a sign we definitely need a spiritual revival in this country where all righteous men and women of God can start praying against this demonic warfare.   This issue with the Boy Scouts of America has offended righteous men of God like Pastor Luter so much, they have had to pull their churches out of Boy Scouts.   It is very obvious, we must separate from wicked men and women until they turn to God and repent and these include many pastors and bishops of black churches who have supported President Obama, including Boys Scouts of America. 

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Luter, pastor of the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in New Orleans for 25 years, said the change in policy by the Boy Scouts was troubling.  

It has been time to fast and pray since liberalism has controlled America, ever since President Obama has been in office.   When children are allegedly included to oppose the Word of God, then we are in trouble folks.

The question was asked if Bishop E.W. Jackson will struggle in his campaign because he is a black, conservative Christian.   SCR says absolutely not, this true man of God will not struggle.   If President Barack Obama can allegedly support a lifestyle which does not agree with God and have many supporters, then why should we question the success of a holy man who happens to be a black, conservative Christian?

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Jackson's critics seem to overlook the fact that he is a former Marine and graduate of Harvard Law School; his credentials are overshadowed by his race-he's black.  

We ask you righteous believers within the black church, when are people going to learn that God has power to place his children in leadership over this country, regardless of race.   If God can bless Bishop Jackson to become lieutenant governor of Virginia, then He does not have to struggle, because of what people think about him.  Why should we righteous saints of God live our lives worried about this ancient race issue?  Furthermore, we do not have to be liberal because we are black, we can choose to be conservative, because we are God's children.   Therefore, we will not have a much harder time disagreeing and not merging with liberalism.   Race is irrelevant because we live in diverse society more than ever and white supremacy does not seem to rule as years ago.   Therefore to think Bishop E. W. Jackson will struggle based on the color of his skin, is ludicrous.

It's time for those whom are holy to realize God has been waiting for someone like Bishop Jackson to courageously become a politician.   It's time for the righteous saints of God to rule America, regardless of whatever race they are.   This subject of race is a trick of the Devil and he is still trying to use it through his ignorant children, so we cannot rule in government, but we will not allow him to win.  In God's Word, He told us to rule in government, so how can being black stop anyone or cause them to struggle?

Allegedly, this pastor serving at the Upper Strasburg Church of God was sharing files, involving child pornography on his computer.   Pastor Keith Bell, 53 years old has two children himself.  We wonder how would he feel if an adult took advantage of his children?  He probably would be very upset about it.

According to publicopiniononline.com, Pastor Bell was arrested on June 12 following an investigation by agents from the Attorney General's Child Predator Section into the downloading and sharing of numerous files containing images of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexually graphic acts and poses.

Saints of God, what has gotten into these pastors who lust for children?  There is a demon roaming around America into the wicked souls of many pastors.   Something is wrong with men or women whom do not prefer to be with people their own age.   The only way we will see this issue go away, is if the righteous saints of God pray against it, because demons seem to be allegedly controlling some some ministers minds and spirits into a state of perversion.

In the meantime, we will keep Pastor Keith Bell in our prayers.

The former senior pastor of founder of Baypoint Community Church, Minister Robert 'Bobby Gass has been allegedly arrested for DUI.  Saints of God, we've got to hold on for this pastor, just because lost his church, due to decrease of membership, it does not mean he cannot rise again. 

We do not know if you recall when Rev. Gass was previously charged for violating protective order, but this following video covers it. 

We pray for God to deal with Pastor Gass to get his life together, because being arrested for various things can turn into much worst circumstances.  

In the meantime, we will keep Rev. Robert Gass in prayers.
