Although, Jay-z and Beyonce did not have words at the Trayvon Martin rally in NYC, Rev. Al Sharpton mentioned they were present. Their music maybe secular, but it is very nice they attended the rally, something many other black celebrities would not dare do, in this era of extreme diversity. One of the reasons, we feel many other black celebrities would not attend such a rally, is because they would not want to be accused of being militant. However, it's not about being militant, it's about caring about a human life and unfair justice.
