It's about time! We are happy for them and we salute Shirley Sherrod for her work on behalf of the black farmers for many years. Black farmers in the south will finally begin receiving payments this week as a result of a $1.2 billion settlement in their discrimination case against federal agriculture officials. About 18,000 farmers in total are expected to receive checks over the next few days.

We thank God for taking control over this situation. Ever since Trayvon Martin verdict, people have lost some faith in the justice system in Florida. Now that George Zimmerman is free and causing more harm to our society than ever, Florida court officials should be on their knees praying he doesn't go on a killing rampage since he threatened his wife and father-in-law with and knife and gun...At least now, they must make a move to prove they can do something right before God and the people and grant this deserving woman another trial...

The findings, both surprising and shocking, are part of the first phase of a seven year boycott against BB&T Bank. The complaints alleged unethical behavior, unnecessary fees, online banking trickery, bad loans, rude personnel, and overall uneasiness concerning white personnel towards black customers.
