Well, it looks like it's a close chapter for Paula Deen's lawsuit.  However, it does not mean that she is not an alleged racist nor does it mean she won't have to answer to a higher judge, if she's guilty of offending the other party.  It's good to admit wrongdoings to those you've hurt. 

According to CNN.com, the proceedings will be dismissed "with prejudice," meaning the lawsuit cannot be filed again. The parties agreed the dismissal would be "without any award of costs or fees to any party," according to the posting.  

In the meantime, we will keep you updated on any further news about Paula Deen.  Also, we will see if her empire rises again.

It's very sad, after all the years of watching Oprah Winfrey, we never realized she was friends with Paula Deen.  However, Oprah is so popular among celebrities, she knows a lot of people and cannot be blamed for Paula Deen's previous racial comment.  However, she finally opens up about Deen using the N-Word, sort of. 

According to usmagazine.com, more than a year later, in a videotaped deposition, Deen admitted to once using the N-word in the past. The 66-year-old Southerner was subsequently fired by the Food Network and lost multiple endorsement deals. Until recently, Winfrey had remained silent on her friend's latest controversy.

It certainly has been a rocky road for Mrs. Paula Deen. She has lost many endorsements and has had to stomach many people coming out and outing her racist ways in the past weeks since the scandal broke. Well, regardless of how many companies have dropped Paula Deen, she seems to be getting some favor, or is she? A report from Eater.com, stated the Food Network, who was the first to drop Deen amidst the racial scandal, is planning to bring her back to the network.

We are at awe about this rally. Apparently a group of over 100 people will be coming together in support of Paula Deen. But get this: it will be a group of black people who support Paula Deen. The group and website is called: 'Black People for Paula'. We don't understand why any black people would actually attend a rally in support of Paula Deen. She has made it very clear that she has used the n -word, is not ashamed of it and will not change.

News reports state Paula Deen has replaced her lead legal team, the latest fallout from her admission she used racial slurs in the past. In an announcement last week, Deen has cut ties with her longtime agent who helped make her a Food Network star and now she's retained new counsel.
