A lesbian by the name of Kat Cooper's a parents have belong to Ridgedale Church of Christ for many years.  Now since she has came out of the closet with her wife and fought for health benefits, her family was asked to leave the church for supporting their daughter's lifestyle.   We ask you is it a sin to support your children's lifestyle?  Of course it is, because if God disproves of homosexuality, then he disproves of family supporting the sin.  

According to newschannel9.com, Cooper says Kat's family have been attending Ridgedale Church of Christ for more than 60 years. Cooper says Kat's mom, Linda was taken into a private meeting room after Sunday service and given an ultimatum. She was to go before the congregation and repent of her sins or she was to stop supporting her daughter's lifestyle. If she didn't agree to either option, she wouldn't be welcome.

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. We think it's wonderful to finally hear positive news of Bishop Eddie Long bringing these high school football players to Jesus Christ.  Many of you recall negative news, previously of Bishop Long allegedly being accused of molesting young teens who are grown men now.   However, it seems like Bishop Eddie Long is putting the past behind him and that's a good thing.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, on Sunday, players from Towers High School's Titans football team were called to the church's alter, where they "received salvation," according to a description of YouTube video documenting the event.

Many of you 70's babies recall the TV show, 'The Patridge Family'.  This is David Cassidy who has been charged with a DUI.  Sometimes, we wonder why some Hollywood Celebrities live dangerous lives, even after they are no longer rich and famous.

This is an update on the death of Lee Thompson Young, he did not leave a suicide note.   For some reason, we felt police would not find one, because this could be a case of foul play, we are not sure.  If you read our article, some readers had a lot of opinions to share at a particular Hollywood site.

According to nydailynews.com, the friend said Young practiced Yoruba, a religious faith based predominantly in Nigeria and southern Benin, and that he took a trip to a Yoruba village with him mom several months ago for a "beautiful ceremony."

One the most famous celebrities of fiction writers has died.  Some movies was based off of the work of crime novelist, Elmore Leonard.   It's wonderful to die at a time when you do not stop working at what you're best at and this is what occurred with Leonard.  He was putting his 46th novel into publication at the time of his death.

According to ktla.com, Leonard, 87, was working on his 46th novel at the time of his death. Born in New Orleans in 1925, Leonard and his family moved to Detroit when the writer was very young and his father was working for General Motors. Leonard made the city his longtime home, and was referred to as “the Dickens of Detroit” by fans.

Crime Novelist Elmore Leonard Dies at 87

Sadly, this young Hollywood actor, Lee Thompson Young was found dead in his home, allegedly.  If it was suicide, no one knows why this handsome star would take his own life.   So far, we are not sure if there was a suicide note found near his body.

According to CNN.com, Young's body was found in his home at 8 a.m. Monday, a Los Angeles police spokesman said.

If there was no suicide not, then we do not know if it was foul play, making it appear as a suicide.  May Hollywood celebrity, Lee Thompson Young rest in peace, he was only 29 years old. We are praying for his family and friends.

Of course, many black churches helped ignite the movie, "The Butler".  It is the greatest movie of the century for African Americans.  Furthermore, since TWC's marketing team created a scripture guide and faith-oriented trailer, many churchgoers no doubt became very excited about "The Butler."

According to HollywoodReporter.com, the spiritual guide offers inspirational quotes from the cast and crew, themes from the film with accompanying questions for reflection and relevant scripture passages. Allegedly, cops this Evansville pastor was just waving at the cops when he was handcuffed.  Pastor Madison was accused of flipping them off.  Although, many see this as a racial incident, Pastor George Madison says not so.  

According to Mail Online, through his work on the local fire department, he is familiar with a number of the police officers in Evansville and he thought he recognized one of the men in the car so he waved. That is not how the police interpreted it, however, as they claim that they thought he was flicking them off. The officers stopped Madison, and, according to Madison, they were getting confrontational. He then took out his phone and went to call the police chief, Billy Bolin, who he is friends with. The officers told him to hang up the phone and get on the ground.

It very bad just to be handcuffed even if the cops thought this Pastor George Madison was giving them a bad sign.  However, thank God they did not harm him any way.

We just want to ask you a question, are things so bad in this country, we cannot even politely wave at police officers?

In this modern age of mega ministries, it does not surprise us some people are agreeing with 'Preachers of LA', because all it is is entertainment.   What God is concerned about is, 'how many souls are being lost while these 'so-call' celebrity preachers are showing off their fame and fortune?'  Thank God, most pastors disapprove of this reality show, because this means they see things through the eyes of God and if He's not happy neither we be happy with carnality.

"When you put the church in the category of all these other shows - though I don't watch them, I don't have time for that foolishness - it demeans the church. It brings it down and it takes away the value of why it's here. That's why the church is in the condition that it's in. Because the church has, in a sense, aligned itself with themes of the world." 

In the meantime, we pray that these pastors repent for their decision to star on 'Preachers of LA' before it's everlasting too late.  Furthermore, it seems like they would have learned from Zachery Tims death.

The question comes to mind if it is right or wrong for Pentecostal pastors to teach HIV patients to put their faith and God and not doctors.  However, with any illness, the Word of God teaches us to have faith in God, because His Word cannot lie.  God gave us His commandments to accept and follow and it is a sin not to believe His Word.  'But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.'  Therefore, we have no choice but to believe God's Word, because it is a sin not to believe what He promised us.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, medical staff told the BBC a minority of pastors in England were endangering young church members by putting them under pressure to stop medication.

In Isaiah 53: 5, it says this: ' But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.'  Also in I Peter 2:24, God's Word says: 'Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.'  So, whose report will you believe?  The diagnosis that the doctor has given you or God's Word?  However, when it comes to an individual taking medicine, such as HIV patients it would not be wise to instruct them not to take it until the doctor has told them they cannot find a trace of disease in their bodies.

In the meantime, we will keep these HIV patients in our prayers, but we would hope they use wisdom and continue to have faith while taking their prescribed medication.

This is the second time, Pastor Matt Pitt has been arrested for impersonating an officer.  We do not know what type of rush Pastor Pitt gets from impersonating a police officer, but he has proven he is not called to do God's work.   No one can do God's work and work for the Devil as a criminal at the same time.   As it says in Matthew 6:24, 'No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.'

According to blog.al.com‎, in the most recent case, authorities said deputies on June 15 were called to the 5200 block of Falling Creek Lane to investigate a report of a man impersonating a law enforcement officer. Christian said deputies were told there was a suspicious vehicle sitting in front of a home two hours earlier and the resident had seen people going back and forth between the vehicle and a nearby wooded area.

We sincerely pray Pastor Matt Pitt gets his soul right with God before it's everlasting too late.   It's a shame he's not allegedly holding a standard of what God expects Him to be.  Furthermore, if he is not living right, his members most likely are not going to do right.  All men and women of God need to be holy, so their church members can see the light of Jesus Christ and also be holy in their own personal lives.

This is very sad, in the 21st century this guy is too lazy to work walked into a Texas bank and claimed Michelle Obama adopted him through Facebook.  First of all, there is no way that could happen nor would she allow a stranger to enter a bank and retrieve funds from her account.  

According to  NYDailyNews.com, the bank teller quickly determined Johnnie Fletcher Gooden Jr. was not who he said he was and asked him to leave, but he refused to do so.  He was arrested and is now in the Brazos County Jail.

Thank God these two pastors were acquitted for standing out at a DMV in California preaching God's Word.  The judge in the case allegedly ruled Pastors Brett Coronado and Mark Mackey were only exercising their right of Freedom of Speech.  If you recall Pastor Coronado of Reconciled Christian Fellowship in Hemet, and Pastor Mackey, an elder at Calvary Chapel Hemet church, were arrested on February 2, 2011.  Now, in 2013, they are free and have both proven God will step in when you have been persecuted for Jesus Christ.

According to WND.com, Nic Cocis, co-counsel for the defense, said, “These men were exercising their First Amendment right of free speech. They were simply sharing their faith on public property and the criminal charges should never have been filed.”

In the meantime, we will celebrate with these two pastors and keep them in our prayers.   Furthermore, this is a lesson for all of you not to stop witnessing to lost souls, regardless of the persecution you face.

Jesse Jackson Jr. has been sentenced to 30 months in prison.   The former congressman humbly apologized for his actions and pleaded guilty to the charges of fraud along with his wife, Sandi.  However, Sandi is not sentenced yet and the couple requested that they both be sentenced at different times, so they can care for their family, which could have been a part of a plea deal, according to MyFoxChicago.com.

According to  CNN.com, in a statement read in court, Jackson said he wants to be held accountable for his actions and he knows what he did was wrong. The former legislator also asked for the judge not punish his wife for what he said "was a subset of what I did."

In the meantime, we will keep Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife, Sandi in our prayers.  Also, we will inform you whenever Sandi gets sentenced to prison and how long it will be.

We are so proud of the way Oprah Winfrey touched on what happened in Switzerland.  Honestly, we thought she was being like many other African Americans, apologizing for something she is not responsible for.  However, she allegedly said she walked in the store just like any other person and it was one person who did not allow her to see the $38,000 bag.

According to CNN.com, the manager of the boutique, Trudie Goetz, subsequently told CNN the entire incident was a "200 percent misunderstanding" and had nothing to do with racism.

We are very impressed that Oprah did not lie about the situation and says she is not blaming the entire country nor the store for one person's actions.   Also, this should help a lot of Americans to understand America is not the only place some African Americans encounter racism, there are many other countries who look down on black people.   We believe God allows this to occur, so we can acknowledge that Satan is all over the world carrying on this ancient demon of racism, not just in America.

Of course, we've heard of Jesus in Spanish, pronounced with an H.  However, we agree with the judge, the name Messiah should belong to only Jesus Christ.  In our opinion, it's very dangerous for any mother to name their child, Messiah, for the child may grow up thinking they are the Son of God.  A Tennessee mother did not think it was any harm, but the judge taught her a lesson.
