SCR readers, this single mother, Venita Short was fired from a church daycare in North Carolina. Now after looking up this church website, although we noticed this is not a black church daycare, it did not matter to us, because we have came across the same problem within the black church; too many proclaimed Christians whom do not treat unwed mothers with kindness. 


According to BlackChristianNews.com, after telling the administrator that she wasn't going to get married before she had the baby, Short said the administrator told her that the daycare committee would have to determine if she could work at the facility or not. 

For all of you "so-call" Christians whom punish unwed pregnant women like Venita you should read how Jesus said in John 8:7, 'So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.'  Therefore, if it is true that this church daycare are taking money from single unwed mothers like Venita, what right do they have to fire her? Whether or not it is true, Venita should not have been fired.  In the meantime, we will keep her in our prayers.
