This beloved youth pastor, Brian Jennings was among four people found dead in a car crash. Sadly, Jennings was trying to help someone stranded inside their car when he was struck by a drunk driver. Whomever this drunk driver is, we certainly hope his driver's license is revoked and he never gets behind the wheel of car, ever again.
At least, Pastor Jennings died trying to help someone in need, although it's very sad, he didn't know last night would be his last time being a good Samaritan. According to WFAA.com, the fatal sequence of events started around midnight Saturday when a car broke down. A woman and her daughter who live nearby came out to help the stranded motorist, along with another person who was driving by the scene.
In the meantime, we are praying for the family of Brian Jennings and may he rest in peace.
