For all of you Pistons fans, the team has announced their new head coach. Maurice Cheeks is now the coach of the Detroit Pistons. As you already know, the Detroit Pistons already have some very good NBA stars, so they need a coach who is on their level and we really feel Cheeks is the one.
According to MyFoxDetroit.com, 56-year-old Cheeks spent the past four seasons as an Oklahoma City Thunder assistant coach. The Chicago native was a four-time All-Star over 15 seasons in the NBA, helping the Sixers win a championship in 1983.
In the meantime, our prayers are with the team and we wish them the best, including their new coach, Maurice Cheeks.
