Black Church News: Members of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Bakersfield in court to fire Pastor

The Bible clearly state, we are not to take our brother or sister in Christ to court.  The  I Corinthians 6 says: 'Suppose one of you wants to bring a charge against another believer. Should you take it to the ungodly to be judged? Why not take it to God’s people?'   Therefore, this includes pastors and Pastor Antonio Alfred should not be sitting in a court room after the board of deacons decided for him to remain their pastor.  If you read a bit further that scripture will give more details avoiding taking believers to court.

According to BlackChristianNews.comsupporters of the pastor say they've already had a vote and he won.

Shame on the church members of St. John Missionary Baptist Church who insist on firing Pastor Antonio Alfred.  He is a man of God and if he should not be pastor, his board of deacons would have agreed to fire him.   Let us pray for Pastor Alfred, that God will strengthen him while some of his church members who are enemies try to take his appointed position.
