Black Church News: Rev. Clifford Jones Sr. Will Be a 2014 Candidate for President of the National Baptist Convention

Rev. Clifford Jones who is the pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist church in Charlotte, North Carolina will be a candidate for the National Baptist Convention in 2014.  We think he is the right man for the position since he is well educated, according to his profile at his church website.  It also states that he reaches out to children and families struggling in poverty in various countries.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Pastor Jones' campaign card was distributed Thursday at the Charlotte Convention Center, where nearly 20,000 black Baptists from around the country are meeting through Friday.

We pray Rev. Jones will be president of the National Baptist Convention, it seems like he is the right person for the position.  God bless him and his congregation.
