Celebrity News: Heavyweight Champion Tommy Morrison Passes Away at Age 44


A lot of you fans of boxing know this familiar face, it's the late Tommy Morrison.  He just passed away of an unknown cause, although he was allegedly diagnosed with HIV back in 1996.  Later on, he denied he had the disease while winning against George Foreman and then, Michael Bentt.

According to Bleacherreport.com, the Arkansas-born, Oklahoma-raised fighter, nicknamed “The Duke,” initially accepted that he contracted the disease due to his “permissive, fast and reckless lifestyle” and entered an early retirement, vowing to never fight again.  

It's so sad saints of God, just maybe Tommy Morrison was trying to have faith to live on.  He was only 44 years old, may he rest in peace.
