Black Church News: Why Reality TV Will Only Embarrass and Damage Christian Ministry

Washington Post columnist, Rahiel Tesfamariam speaks the truth about reality TV in the church.  We certainly agree that it will shame and damage the christian ministry, overall.  However, it saddens us to realize these ministers who specifically star on 'Preachers in LA' are spiritually blinds and can't see it.  Allegedly, they are more focused on fame and fortune and the damage afterwards could be irrelevant to them.

According to Black Christian News, this new phenomenon of church leaders as the focus of reality television shows is seen by some as a rare, needed look into the guarded lives of pastors. For others, it will further the embarrassment of an already ridiculed church community. My thoughts lean towards the latter: I question what's behind this growing trend and what potential damage it will do to Christian ministry.

In the meantime, let us pray for God to let these preachers who star on this show, Preachers in LA and other reality shows to see the light and to realize they are doing more harm than good.  God wants them to save souls not show off what wealth they possess to the world.  Too many souls are already burning in hell and the eternal flames are waiting for more.
