Bishop TD Jakes says There Are More People in Theaters on Friday Than in Pews on Sunday



Bishop T. D. Jakes gives an important reason for using the media to preach God's Word.  Allegedly, he says more people are in the theaters on Friday than in the pews on Sundays.  We can agree with him, although it's been that way for a longtime.  Christian television has been around for many years, since the late 60's and early 70's.  If people love God enough, they will seek him.

 According to BlackChristianNews.com, Jakes says, "The great commission calls Christians to go into the world and spread the Good News, we can use television, we can use books, but there are more people in the theaters on Friday nights than the pews on Sunday morning." 

Yes, it's very important for us to use the media to preach God's Word, but it is also very important that Americans and people in foreign countries continue to attend church every Sunday and through the week.
