Black Church News: Harlem Pastors want to Dethrone Rev. Al Sharpton as Civil Rights Activist, we agree

We don't feel Rev. Al Sharpton has changed because he's gotten older, we feel he has failed his duty as an activist, because he could be afraid of what President Obama will say if he makes the wrong move.  Let's be very honest, Rev. Al Sharpton is not the man he used to be.  He used to care about the needs of the black community and was very courageous whenever he spoke to the press.

These days, he's the host of his own television program, 'Political Nation' and hasn't even been heard much on his own radio program at the National Action Network.   We never thought we would say this, but in our opinion, Rev. Al Sharpton has become a scary puppet.  Furthermore, he seems to care more for the homosexual community than the black community.   Now, doesn't that say something about his immoral character as a minister?

According to ChristianPost.com, the ministers, who expect about 1,500 people to show up for the event, said Sharpton is nothing more than a personality who has been spending more time promoting his new book, The Rejected Stone and his show on MSNBC.  Not only that, but since he's lost weight and allegedly has been dating a younger woman, he seems to be putting on airs.

In the meantime, we hope and pray Rev. Al Sharpton will be very honest with the black community and admit he has not been as strong as he used to be when facing certain issues.
