Woman Files Lawsuit Against InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Saying She Was Fired Because of Her Divorce

The question comes to mind, should anyone be fired because of a divorce?  Well, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship obviously thought it was okay to do so.  We don't think it's right to fire someone, because of divorce.  We wonder if the staff of InterVarsity staff prayed for this woman's marriage to heal, instead of terminating her?

According to BlackChristianNews.com, Alyce Conlon worked for the evangelical campus ministry as a spiritual director at the Grand Rapids office from 2004 until she was let go in December 2011, according to a suit filed last week in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

In the meantime, we will keep Alyce Conlon and the university in our prayers.
