Things are so modern in today's average black church and multi-cultural ministries, we never thought we would hear of anyone being conscious of going to see any type of movie. Think about it saints of God, with all the hip hop in the church and gospel music, do you think anyone is concerned about any pastor going to see a Kevin Hart movie. Well, obviously Marvin Sapp thinks he could be judge for doing so.
According to BlackChristianNews.com, to decompress and unwind after preparing his sermon, the preacher and multi-platinum-selling recording artist said, "I decided to come out and go to the movies by myself. Somebody wanna know what I'm going to see. I can't tell you, 'cause I don't want you to judge me."
This is so shocking to hear of any pastor or gospel artist mentioning what people may say about them going to see a movie. In this era of most black church and multi-cultural ministries, there seems to be no boundaries.
Pastor Marvin Sapp Doesn't Want to Be Judged for Going to See Kevin Hart Movie
Preachers are held to a higher standard. That's no question, but not all of them stay away from Rated-R movies and entertainment. Last weekend, Pastor Marvin Sapp revealed via social cam that he didn't want to be "judged" for heading to the movies to see Kevin Hart.
