A film crew were making an independent film in a coffee shop when two Glendora police officers demanded them to drop their fake guns. If you are wondering how something like this could happen, it's very clear, a woman was walking pass the scene thought was she saw was real and called police.
According to ktla.com, all on-duty Glendora officers responded and surrounded the coffee shop. They encountered two men dressed in hoodies, gloves and bandana masks, and armed with what appeared to be a handgun and an AR-15 assault rifle.
One solution that might have helped this group of amateurs making a film, is that they could have at least put up a sign in front of the coffee shop to inform curious onlookers about their project. If they would have done so, then possibly the woman would not have immediately called 911. We are sure if this was in Hollywood or a movie made by Hollywood producers, the streets probably would have been blocked off. However, thank God no actors were harmed are mistaken as real robbers by police.
