The catholic high school teacher, Ken Bencomo (r.) got married to the same-sex and he was fired afterwards. Some students are outraged about his release and have demanded that he be reinstated. However, this catholic school allegedly states they have rights under their beliefs that do not condone certain things, according to what they teach at their church.
According to ktla.com, school officials did not talk to reporters, but a spokesman for the diocese of San Bernardino issued the following statement: ”If a teacher or school employee makes a display of behavior that is counter to church teaching, such as homosexuality, sex outside of marriage or having a child outside of marriage, That can impact their employment status.”
Saints of God, we feel although this catholic school teacher had been teaching there for 17 years, he should have informed the officials of his marriage and choice of sexual preference. He should have known what their christian beliefs were and when he wanted to marry, in our opinion it would have been the right thing to respect their regulations and most of all God's commandments.
