It's very sad, after all the years of watching Oprah Winfrey, we never realized she was friends with Paula Deen. However, Oprah is so popular among celebrities, she knows a lot of people and cannot be blamed for Paula Deen's previous racial comment. However, she finally opens up about Deen using the N-Word, sort of. According to usmagazine.com, more than a year later, in a videotaped deposition, Deen admitted to once using the N-word in the past. The 66-year-old Southerner was subsequently fired by the Food Network and lost multiple endorsement deals. Until recently, Winfrey had remained silent on her friend's latest controversy. In the end of the article, Oprah says she felt kind of sad about the whole thing, allegedly. We can't imagine being a friend to Paula Deen for so many years and discovering she admitted to using the N-word, very sad.
