Some of you who maybe gospel fans of The Winans recall George Duke doing a song for them back in the day on 'Heart and Soul' album. The famous jazz keyboardist had been suffering with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Now, the legend has died and fans are mourning his death.
According to NPR, a little more than a year ago, Duke's wife died of cancer. Duke was devastated and could not make music for months. But, earlier this month, Duke released "DreamWeaver," which the AP's tied up Duke's eclectic career in a lush tribute to his wife.
May George Duke rest in peace, he was 67 years old.
