However, Oprah Winfrey went on to admit we still have came along ways, regardless of all the injustices in America. We certainly can agree with celebrity talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, although it hurts to experience some racial situations, we've still have come along ways in this country.
According to Mail Online, 'Trayvon Martin, parallel to Emmett Till,' Oprah told The Grio's Chris Witherspoon in a short clip of the interview that aired on MSNBC Monday. ''Let me just tell you, in my mind, same thing'.
We really respect Oprah for being honest, which many other celebrities in this era would be afraid to do. In our opinion, to a certain degree some celebrities are in modern day slavery with a slave mentality. Oprah is a very courageous human being and because of strong African Americans like herself is why we have came a long ways, most of all, because of God.
